JONATHAN BUUCK
Jonathan comes to The James Company with 19 years of experience as a Lutheran pastor serving in rural, suburban and urban settings. He has served congregations in leading both Capital and Mission-Focused Campaigns. Jonathan is a trained Healthy Congregations facilitator, has a B.S. in Business Administration, served Bread for the World in Washington, D.C. as an organizer, and is a founding board member of the Habitat for Humanity chapter in Lebanon, Ohio. Jonathan resides in Edina, Minnesota.
GENE ORR Gene comes to The James Company with over thirty years of pastoral ministry experience. As a pastor, he led six capital stewardship appeals for building expansion projects and mission funding. Gene has a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in church growth and is committed to helping churches focus on their ministry and mission priorities and grow their stewardship witness.
With a seasoned background in all aspects of stewardship, Gene now serves as a valuable asset to churches as a unique advisor and campaign management consultant.
GREGORY F. AUGUSTINE PIERCE
Greg is a nationally-known writer, publisher, speaker, and organizer. He was the president for five years of the National Center for the Laity and a founding member of the Business Executives for Economic Justice. He has mentored congregations and religious institutions of all denominations and faiths on leadership, stewardship, and mission development. He and his family are members of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Chicago, where his wife, Kathy, teaches 7th and 8th grade in the parish school.
DON SCHULTZ Don is a United Methodist clergy person and has worked with churches since 1973. He has served as a pastor, as well as a denominational staff consultant on financial stewardship development, church building plans and financing, long-range planning, program assessment and church growth and development. A Program Director with The James Company since 1989, his work has included managing stewardship and building fund appeals and conducting feasibility studies for churches and church-related organizations. Don and his wife, Joan Deming, have two daughters and live in Madison, Wisconsin. They are affiliated with First United Methodist Church in Madison, Wisconsin.
FRED STOLTZ Fred is a Catholic lay person who has been active in ministry leadership since 1984. In addition to his extensive background in business consulting, he has a Masters degree in Pastoral Studies from St. Francis Seminary in St. Francis, Wisconsin. Fred has served as a director and chairperson on various boards, including Church Council, School Board and a Retreat Center Board. In those roles, Fred has facilitated several planning processes. He was involved in his own church's successful capital fund appeal managed by The James Company. Fred and his wife, Nadine, have two children and belong to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Parish in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
REBECCA JORGENSON SUNDQUIST Rebecca joined The James Company as a consultant in the areas of stewardship, development and marketing. She served in that capacity at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for four years and as a major gift officer at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota for three years. She has organized and managed capital appeals, stewardship campaigns, image campaigns, media and public relations, conferences and special events with special emphasis in the business and corporate community. Rebecca serves on the board of ALDE (Association of Lutheran Development Executives) and has taught at St. Thomas University in the areas of fundraising and marketing for non-profit organizations. Rebecca is a member of Central Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota, resides in Minnetonka, Minnesota and has two married children. Rebecca has served the Junior League of Minnesota and WAMSO in leadership capacities. She is the founder of the venture capital non-profit Hats & Mittens.
